I have had an interesting experience tonight. I'm in the process of selling things on CL and today, I sold my chocolate fountains. I laughed at the email address of the lady because it was h(e)mpfestdot org. Yep, having chocolate fountains to help with the munchies! She was an older woman with long straight hair and a sweet smile. She had on a tie-dyed silky shirt/muu-muu. She was not in the best of health from the way she walked. I imagine she probably uses more for medicinal purposes but that's just my imagination. In any case, she handed me the money and I told her a few things about them and the transaction was done. She said to me, "This is perfect timing! And the fact that these were used only once for a special occasion really makes it that much more special." And she patted her heart.

I teared up.

For she was referencing the detail I had put in the ad. That we only used these fountains once, for my mom's memorial service who did not want a funeral service of any kind. She only wanted a big chocolate party to celebrate her life and family.

So regardless of what this woman is involved in, she touched me.

For that, I am grateful.
