There is in every true woman's heart a spark of heavenly fire, which lies dormant in the broad daylight of prosperity; but which kindles up and beams and blazes in the dark hour of adversity.
-Washington Irving
What does this quote make you think of? How do you think it applies to you as a woman, a wife, or a mother? Can you think of certain instances in your life where that "heavenly fire" blazed up?

It makes me think of the phrase: "When mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy." A woman sets the attitude of the home. We all have a spark of heavenly fire - a divine light - inside of us that can shine out and effect the whole family, in good times as well as in bad. That's my two cents.
