New Jane Austen Season coming to PBS starting January 13, 2008! If you need local listings and times just log on to www.pbs.org. Persuasion will be the first adaptation playing on Masterpiece Theater on Sunday the 13th and there will be a new movie every sunday from 9 to 11 on Masterpiece. They are rebroadcasting 1995 P&P with Colin Firth, and Emma with Kate Beckinsale. There is going to be a new Sense and Sensibility, Northanger Abbey,Mansfield Park and of course Persuasion.
January 13, 2008 - Persuasion
January 20, 2008 - Northanger Abbey
January 27, 2008 - Mansfield Park
February 3, 2008 - Miss Austen Regrets
February 10-24, 2008 - Pride and Prejudice (3 2-hour episodes, this is our beloved Colin Firth/Jennifer Ehle 1995 version)
March 23, 2008 - Emma (this is the 1996 Kate Beckinsale version)
March 30-April 6, 2008 - Sense and Sensibility (2 90-minute episodes) And this Sense and Sensibility is a brand new one it looks promising but we will see.
